There’s nothing wrong with making money.
A profitable business gives you choices.
The choice to invest in your people.
To take a chance on a new idea.
To say no to a client who isn’t the right fit.
To take a holiday without worrying about how the bills will get paid.
Or to do something good for someone who could use a hand.
Yet it’s easy to get caught up chasing more.
More revenue. More clients. More growth. More profit.
And sometimes we forget to ask ourselves…
More for what?
Don’t get me wrong. Profit matters. A lot.
But it’s what profit makes possible that really interests me.
So here’s a thought for November.
If your business made an extra $100,000 next year, what would you do with it?
Would it make your business better?
Your life better?
The lives of the people around you better?
Hopefully, a bit of all three.
Because a good business should do more than make money.
It should make good things possible.
